Hi there!

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Travel Diary #2 Aruba

Travel Diary #2 Aruba

Whenever I travel I keep a note in my phone to keep track of what I do + where I go. Hopefully this will be a helpful resource if you’re planning, or thinking about planning a trip to Aruba! I’ve traveled to other islands, but I have to say Aruba was by far the best ocean I have seen! Crystal clear water, schools of fish swimming, and the softest white sand your feet have ever touched. Aruba’s food really impressed me and I highly recommend checking out a few of the restaurants while you’re there. They book up in advance so I definitely suggest making reservations!

Restaurants

  • Eat: Chalet Suisse

    • Ordered: Filet mignon + porterhouse steak carved at the table.

    • Incredible service!

  • Eat: Madam Janet

    • Ordered: Bang bang shrimp! My mouth is watering thinking about this…

    • Great atmosphere feels like you’re in a backyard with twinkle lights + live music.

  • Eat: Gianni’s

    • Ordered: Pasta cheese bowl made table-side.

    • Split between 2 people + you will still have leftovers!

    • Water sports @ Holiday Inn hotel.

  • Snorkeling

    • We went on a catamaran ride and snorkeled at the Antilla shipwreck.

  • Yoga

    • Manchebo hotel offers $15 yoga to non-guests.

    • There is nothing better than yoga on the beach with the ocean as your backdrop!

    • It’s under a pavilion so you don’t need to worry about the sun beating down on you and getting sweaty + sandy.

  • Aruba Open Beach Tennis

    • Check if this is going on while you’re in Aruba!

    • Countries from all over the world compete and the stands fill up with fans.

    • Vendors with food + alcohol.
