Travel Diary #1 Jamaica
I recently stayed at a Sandals resort in Negril, Jamaica with my boyfriend and it was amazing from the moment we got off the plane. The grounds of the hotel are lush with gorgeous flowers everywhere you walk. The staff is consistently working to keep it looking picture perfect, and making it hard to get very far without wanting to stop and take a photo! I love staying at all-inclusive resorts because it takes the planning out of the picture, and of course the endless mojitos and pina coladas on the beach doesn’t hurt either. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusive’s and the trickiest part is always dinner reservations. At this specific hotel only 2 restaurants require reservations, and the rest you can just walk in. 2 out of 7 nights we had reservations, and the rest of the trip we didn’t find it necessary.
If you are wondering how I got all this content it’s #1 because I have an amazing boyfriend and #2 is because they have photographers taking candid’s of you all day long. Yes, I said candid photo’s without you having to awkwardly ask strangers to take a photo which is one of the hardest parts when you travel with only one other person and want photos together. We made very good friends with 2 of the photographers, shout out Wilby + Ramon!
Prior to this trip I did a ton of online shopping at Lulu’s to freshen up my summer wardrobe 😊 Some of my favorite new pieces are linked below. I love the shopping prior to a trip, and getting all my outfits visualized with new and existing pieces in my wardrobe.
I’m going to do a separate post on my travel gear because I have been traveling a lot lately and have noticed how big of a difference it makes when you have the right travel items. No more lugging around a huge bag as a carry on or wheeling a suitcase with a wheel that doesn’t glide. It’s time to upgrade those if you travel often, so stay tuned for that post!! One love <3
